Bad Advice

W.A.L.T Identify, analyse, and record the various devices the writer has used to convey humour and irony

This is a reflection on a book that my Reading group and I read called Bad Advice. Here is some sentience from the story Sentence from the story:

As you start to slide towards that power pole,

try running. Faster! After all,

  1. Hi Sapphire,

Thank you for posting your imagery of the poem you have been reading. I really love how your image shows what is happening in the sentence you have chosen. How did you make banana skins on the boys shoes?

What do you think this sentence is telling you as the reader? Do you think it is good advice or bad advice?
